An x-rated, sexy circus is heading to Yeovil this October, bringing with it topless feather dances and ‘upside-down hunks in trunks’.

The Cirque du Vulgar is a performance that has already swept through Devon and Cornwall with huge success, and is now heading to Somerset to showcase its over-18s entertainment.

The circus is inspired by all things vulgar and features ‘fire-breathing pyromaniac, alluring hula hoops, sexy strong men, a drunken whore, nail-biting acrobatics and a fearsome dominatrix flying high in the Big Top’.

One of the biggest acts involves a Wheel of Death rotating high above the ground that the acrobats jump and skip over, all while fellow performers dance and bang metal chains in the time to music.

You definitely can’t take the kids to this circus
Be prepared for a night of saucy entertainment, the likes of which you’ve never seen before

A spokeswoman for Cirque du Vulgar said the performers have thought of everything, from ‘upside-down hunks in trunks to mind bending pole-dancing’, ‘champagne on ice and plenty of those trousers which rip off at the Velcro seams’.

Frank, one half of the comedy duo Frank and Beans, said: ““We’ve promised flesh, we’ve promised filth, we’ve promised stunts. This is one circus show that you can’t take the kids to!”

His partner Beans also plays the role of the fire-breathing pyromaniac and has a certain penchant for stuffed rabbits.

The foul-mouthed, dirty jokes will be coming from the pair throughout the night of entertainment.

Spokeswoman for the show Rosie Clarke said: “You’ve never seen anything like Cirque du Vulgar before.

“This year marks 250 years since the birth of circus arts in the UK, and we wanted to tear up the rule book and create a show which was refreshing, enticing, and aimed at a whole new audience

Another of the high profile acts includes a giant bath tub and a scantily-clad French maid.

The maid emerges from the bath soaking wet, suspended by elastic wrist cords. Her aerial straps act is tipped as a favourite.

Another popular act includes three ‘Vulgarettes’ performing a teasing topless feather dance. The circus says ‘nudity and naughtiness are the order of the day.

However, there’s no excuses for the male members of the cast to stay clothed, as they will be bearing all ‘in the name of risqué entertainment’.

The show is heading the the Yeovil Showground on October 13 at 8:30pm for a night of naughty entertainment.

Tickets cost £15 each for tiered seating. However if you want to get up close and personal with the provocative performers, VIP tickets cost £25 and get you ringside tables with the Vulgar characters.

If that wasn’t enough, VIP tickets also get you a free drink.
