There’s a The Greatest Showman sing-along happening in Belfast complete with circus performances.

The Strand Arts Centre, in the east of the city , is hosting the sing-along to the hit movie in November, so grab a ringside seat.

Taking place on November 3, the sing-along will include performers from Belfast Circus School and Premiere Circus , so expect unicycling, juggling and fire.

Performing arts academy NiStars will also dance along to the film’s biggest number, This Is Me.

Inspired by the imagination of P. T. Barnum, The Greatest Showman is an original musical that celebrates the birth of show business and tells of a visionary who rose from nothing to create a spectacle that became a worldwide sensation.

“We are hugely excited about this event,” said Strand Arts Centre CEO Mimi Turtle.

“Northern Ireland’s oldest cinema building is not just the pictures anymore so it’s fitting that this Sing Along will be an immersive experience fusing film and live performance.

“The Greatest Showman became one of the surprise successes of 2018 thanks to incredible word of mouth and repeat viewing. And having circus performers both inside and outside the Strand will help to create the right atmosphere for what I predict will be a hugely popular, family-friendly Sing Along.”
